Chamber Excitement!

I am thrilled to announce that, for the 3rd time is as many years we have been nominated for Business of the Year thru the Red Wing Chamber of Commerce. The award is presented during the annual meeting that is held on Feb 1st at Treasure Island Resort and Casino. There are 7 categories, and Backwoods is in the Retail category.

It’s exciting and rewarding to know one of our customers appreciated us enough to take time out of their day to write a nomination! We’ve had a spectacular 2015, and have had many great projects, but I’ve found that folks have a hard time taking a moment to actually write something down. We did get a few new testimonials this year.

If you are a member of the Chamber, I hope you have gotten your tickets for the meeting, and the famous dessert auction! The theme of this years event is “Paving the Way to Success” as a take off on our famous road construction project. Voting for the various businesses of the year starts on January 18th, and is all online, so there is no excuse not to vote! And of course, when it comes to the retail area, a vote for Backwoods is always appreciated!
